If you thought the season of creative debuts was over, think again—at least not yet—with the long-awaited return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025 under the creative direction of Adam Selman. Once again, wings, sparkles, and a kaleidoscope of color took center stage alongside the year’s most relevant models and celebrities in a spectacle celebrating women in all their diversity.
We’ve often been critical of this show, but truth be told, sensuality has an unfailing formula: self-confidence. And at Victoria’s Secret, that confidence has always come wrapped in lace, leather, Swarovski crystals, and meticulously crafted wings.
A Victoria’s Secret Angel earns her wings when she walks—and shakes the world with her presence. That energy was palpable last night with a star-studded cast: Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Barbie Ferreira, Irina Shayk, Alessandra Ambrosio, Joan Smalls, and the athletic debuts of Suni Lee and Angel Reese.
Over the years, we’ve seen countless extravagant, winged runways, and though 2025 was no exception, this show placed its focus elsewhere—on diversity within what it means to feel “sexy.” The result was a more playful, joyful atmosphere where models flirted, laughed, and radiated confidence, sending that energy straight to the audience.
Set across themes like Showgirl, Football Player, Gold & Silver, and Sunkissed by the Sun, the angels strutted to performances by Madison Beer, Karol G, Missy Elliott, and TWICE—continuing the legacy of female empowerment. And of course, an honorable mention goes to the Hadid sisters, who lit up the runway like never before.
In practical terms, Victoria’s Secret remains what it’s always been: a spectacle. It’s been years since the brand showcased a piece meant to redefine its legacy—and perhaps that’s not the goal. It knows what works and has simply adapted it to the present. Classics never fail, and we’ll always love seeing them shine on the big stage.
